There is a very interesting story about the creation of this organization. If you are reading these lines, it is worth taking a moment to learn more and strengthen your faith in the Blessed One.
There is a special family among thousands, coming every week to receive food baskets and clothing assistance from the organization. After learning the good news about the birth of their sixth child, about two months after the birth, the mother discovered a serious illness. Despite efforts and treatments for a year, the family faced financial difficulties. In a courageous decision, the couple decided to use their savings to create a small Torah study center ("Keter Reuven"). They believed that dedicating themselves to the study of the Torah for the love of heaven could attract mercy from above and healing for the mother.
After about a year of unsuccessful attempts, the young couple considered creating a study center, invoking heavenly mercy and reaping blessings. However, their major concern was the lack of financial means to support their own needs. How could they create a study center?
After much thought, they decided to invest most of their savings in this project of creating the "Keter Reuven" study center. They decided to devote their energy to the study of the Torah with sincerity and the practice of what their hearts desired. They hoped that when the hearts of the Torah students were completely devoted, the Holy Blessed be He would have mercy on the family and send complete healing to the mother, because of whom the whole house stood on its feet on the path of Torah and commandments.
The center started about two years ago from this date (Tishri 5782 / October 3, 2021). Until today, with God's help, despite many challenges and spending family savings, and of course, with the help of many generous people who heard their story and provided support, the center continues to exist. Today (Heshvan 5784 / December 12, 2023), the mother, thanks to God, is in good health and can even consider a new pregnancy, lead the house as usual, and educate her children with dedication in the Jewish values of our holy ancestors and pure mothers, to hasten the coming of the Messiah in our days.
All this story is not just a narration but a real action, a living proof of what can be accomplished with faith in God and devotion to His Torah.
If the center started with only three students, today, after two years of sacrifices, it has about a dozen students who study the Torah seriously, punctually, and conscientiously, with a concern for time. The family invites everyone to contribute to strengthening "Keter Reuven" so that it can continue to grow, adding dozens more students who will study even more Torah, sanctifying the name of God.
Congratulations to us all! A month ago (Cheshvan 5784 / November 10, 2023), a group of several families organized to create a revolution of miracles and salvation for their families. They founded the organization "Kollel Yom Shishi," where they study Kabbalah and the writings of the Ari in a group, the first of its kind in the city of Carmiel in Israel. About fourteen families study together every Friday night from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, even during the short winter days, with a spirit of camaraderie and mutual giving, smiling and helping each other both spiritually and materially.
The family expresses their gratitude and hope that their story will serve as inspiration to others. They ask to share their story and encourage anyone willing to contribute to the strengthening of "Keter Reuven" or any other assistance to do so. They express their gratitude and hope that their story will inspire others.
